To say we were highly disappointed in the food would be an understatement. Supposed to be a family restaurant as just about every age was there. Typically specials are in ADDITION to the every day menu. We both had meals that should have had mashed potatoes but waitress said ONLY veggies available were listed with specials . I ordered an open-faced roast beef sandwich with grave (no mashed potatoes, obviously). It was roast beef Sandwich Meat (very dried out) on a hard piece of bread. Could NOT cut through meat NOR bread! Potato salad was nasty both of our meals were inedible. We had 2 waitresses as our 1st one disappeared. 2nd waitress was snippy copped an attitude when we explained how bad our food is unavailability of standard menu items. We ended up returning food after quick sampling it at restaurant got a Club Sandwich to take back to hotel.

The food is always good. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable about eating here is the judgy looks you get from the employees the whole time you’re eating. I don’t like people staring at me while I’m eating my whole meal!

Nice country diner atmosphere. But food is sub-par and overpriced for what it was. Waiting staff was nice. My advice is to walk down a couple doors and eat at a Taste of Italy..

I've been eating here since they opened at least 20 years ago and a couple of the waitresses have worked here for that long and that says a lot!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE SERVICE AND THE WORSE FOOD overall the WORSE PLACE I have ever had to endure a meal! Waitress immediately informed us the table was “set up for somebody else”, it is a self seating place- two menus were on the table, but we had no idea. (No reserved seating sign noted), she walked away in the middle of me trying to ask for lemon in my water while she was taking my drink order. Multiple, multiple times checked on customers around us, and only checked on us when we asked and that was as I said “ma’am twice”. The open faced roast beef was SO TOUGH that it was almost impossible to even cut with the provided serated knife. When we asked if we could exchange it for spaghetti, you would have thought we had personally insulted her. No offer to refill our drinks, asked for to go plates when we were given the ticket, at which time we were finally asked how meal was when I said my chicken breast was so dry but I kept it because it was hungry she huffed, rolled her eyes and walked off without replying. A different waitress brought the to go boxes back. The food taste over all- dry and tasted old and from a can or the grocery store freezer aisle. Prices were UNBELIEVABLY HIGH. There “salad” that comes with deluxe sandwich combo includes lettuce and teaspoon of tomato. Have no plans of ever returning… even if food was free.
