Queijadas da Vila do Morgado

I didn't know these were a thing until I stopped by this cafe for some breakfast and decided to try the queijadas. Delicious. The coconut ones were the best, the view is nice, the inside is small and some tour groups on buses stopped by...while we were there and totally filled the place. I'm happy we stopped here and experienced it. Would have been fun to watch them making them

The pastry shop cafe is near the port and we passed by it after visiting the Ilhéu de Vila Franca. It was in the late afternoon and the place is quiet. If you visit it earlier you can see them making the pastries through the...glass window. We tried the pastries and got an espresso. They are so good! They also got fresh lemonade and pineapple juice at that time. If you want to save some Euro, buy the pastries in boxes and eat some there with an espresso. Buy a few more boxes to take home. It is a yummy treat!

Lugar com vista para o mar. Optimo para tomar ou comer algo e relaxar. Queijadas excelentes. Apenas uma critica, é muito doce.

Devia ser obrigatório a todos os turistas e viajantes que passassem por esta zona de São Miguel e não só, provarem estas queijadas. Neste bar, ainda é possível ver a fabricação da Queijada da Vila, a autêntica!! Pena fecharem às 18h de semana.
