Bought filled turkey over Thanksgiving and I have to say it was the best I ever had. It was very delicate and tasty. Wish it was a bit spicy, but again this is my preference!
This is an incredible Mediterranean grocery store, butcher and catering business. Your food is absolutely delicious. They are very cheap and offer the most amazing Lebanese cuisine. Everything is always so fresh! They are very accommodating. Her lamb, beef, chicken, kabob, Kufta, are all delicious. You also have great salads, rice and pastries. I always use Beirut Cafe for all my parties and my guests are always impressed. You also have a quick envelope and can customize orders as required. Very recommended. I've used it for the last 8 years!
We had kept a whole cow from Beirut Butchery and they really went beyond and beyond with their service. They delivered exactly the different types of cuts we demanded and packed everything very neat/clean in individual polystyrene shells. People there are proud of their work. We demanded many different types of steaks, ribs, roasts, kabobs, ground beef and desi cuts and they surpassed our expectations and were known throughout the various cuts. Their prices were also very competitive.
I was visiting a friend from out of town, after admitting she was too jetlagged to stand back up, I went on grubhub to find her some savoury, spicy food to perk her up. WOW! We ordered the Vegetarian Platter, destroyed it in 30 minutes. The Chicken Shawarma? Done by morning along with the still Soft, Chewy Pita, eaten instead of the complimentary hotel breakfast. The Kibbeh was an appetizer that went fantastically with the pickles hummus. We also ordered Tabouleh, spinach feta Fatayer. Beirut Cafe takes an extra 20 minutes from estimated time of delivery. It's also expensive as heck, did not live up to the price. But for all that it lacked, it wasn't much! The Tabouleh was mostly parsley, missing some cucumber burghul. The dolmas were canned and a little soggy, but flavorful. The Baba Ganouj was missing garlic, but still delicious. The Fatayer were crisp and juicy inside, fresh! The Falafel were slightly flattened, perfectly fried rounds of beans, parsley, coriander, onion. Our favorite items were the Hummus Shawarma, both delicious together inside the Pita bread. The Shawarma was a tangy, smoky, comfort-food blend of spices, marinated magnificently. I will be coming down here when I'm around Falls Church just to try their other dishes.
