Sookjai Thai Restaurant - Victoria

Meh! I had high hopes after reading the other reviews but with so many good Thai restaurants in this town, I'll try another next time. We ordered 2 dishes both medium but when they finally arrived, one had minimal heat and the other was borderline too hot. The pad Thai was a bit heavy on the tamarind for my liking but the coconut curry was nicely flavoured. I don't know if they were unusually busy last night but service was very slow. When they finally got to us, they were over-the-top friendly. Go figure!

Very nice little place, friendly staff, fast service, great food. We ordered the non-spicy Ocean on the Land for kids and Thai Spicy Green Curry Chicken for adults, both came out exactly how we liked! Fresh sea food, authentic Thai curry! Recommended!

I recently visited Sookjai Thai Restaurant in Victoria and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and authentic, and the service was top notch. I highly recommend trying their pad Thai, fried rice and fish snapper dishes they were all amazing! The host and cook were fabulous and made our dining experience even better. I will definitely be coming back here again!

The sunny, enthusiastic and engaged service helps differentiate this restaurant.The portions of well prepared food are generous. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and each dish is quite distinct.No wonder this is a popular place..

This is really good Thai food for a fair price in the center of Victoria BC!If you like Thai food?This is the place to be!Great service, excellent food, good price and delicious flavours.Sookie always welcomes you with a smile.There is a lot of choice.And they also have their own spicy pepper sauce for 12,50.Try it and buy it!You can find it also in stores in Victoria.The best!!
