Bidrage med feedbackWent with an out of town friend. Ordered nachos with guacamole. It was a tad pricey but incredibly delicious. Cute Mexican decor. Recommend.
The home made tacos were simply awful, try to pick them up and they split down the middle because they were too thick and not properly cooked. The doughy taco overwhelmed the fillings which were actually pretty good, but overall quite unacceptable.
Not fancy, but tasty, real Mexican food that's good value. Rice and beans are very good, as is the posole on Sundays.
This is a smallish food-court style restaurant in the Hudson Centre. They have 4 or 5 tables out front, you order at the window and they bring your food out to you. You can count on about $10 per person for lunch. There is an extensive menu, considering the fact it is basically a food stall and the food is good. But man, the refried beans are the most amazing thing. I don't know what they do - I mean I know there is chorizo in them and they are well spiced, but that doesn't do them justice. You should try them - I mean why should I be the only one with a refried bean problem.
This place is located in the Victoria Public Market. Sort of a food court situation. We lived for 3 years in Mexico and we are pretty fussy about Mexican food. These folks are from Guadalajara so this is the real deal. Not much atmosphere and only a few tables but if you want a tasty treat with some tang we highly recommend this place.
