China Star - Vernon

China star is a local fav. I'm in the opposite a few years ago and I've never been disappointed. the owner is wonderful. we are pampered with people up here for the resort. the parking lot will be full, but they are super fast. it is obvious that they are proud of the prep work before cooking. the rice alone is delicious and everything is fresh. I was shocked that every garnel in my fried rice was really clean and well cooked. they do not shy on portions. even during lunch. everything is always right and hot packed when we come home.

I have gone here a lot in the past and I never really had an issue till tonight. The chicken and broccoli lacked flavor, and the fried dumplings were all dough and little filling but what really got me is the crab Rangoon had no filling. I took a picture of three to show proof that there was nothing inside. It looked like there was until you pulled it apart and saw nothing inside. Very disappointed.

This place when I first tried on my way to Crystal Springs was so delicious, fast forwarding to yesterday back at C.S and we stopped here again and the rice was undercooked .The only thing tht was good was the chicken wings

I hate to say but my wife and were not happy with the food, I think the rush making the food, the fride dumplings were raw on one side plus no taste, wanton in the soup tasted raw was hard, fried rice tasted burned, the ribs were burned and tasted burned. we should have went with pizza station.

Mmmm. this is good Chinese food! and so close to the mountain flu and great shlucht village. very friendly staff. sweet and acidic huh was both sweet and sour. bark meat and brokkoli was garlic and tasty and fleshy. egg foo young was nice for 3 people cut and had a beautiful light brown engraving.
