Shelter (do not think to see a classic mountain refuge) located in a quiet area. is located near other houses, therefore not being very visible to find it is necessary to follow the signs that are located on the dirt road (not available if not with special permission) that leads to the village. you eat discreetly well. there are tables both internally and externally (both covered and not covered). if you are in the area and decide to take a trip to camaggiore you can rely on this place for lunch or dinner .

You can reach the Rifugio Ragno starting from the paid parking lot of Sanico. With a nice walk of about an hour you walk along a path that, climbing, runs along the mountain in the shade of a beautiful coniferous forest. You have to cross some nice creek, pay attention nearby. The path is easy but not wide. Otherwise you can walk along an asphalted road that becomes dirt road, which can be reached by car until a station away from the refuge a ten minute walk. You eat well, very kind and precise staff. Small sin having consumed the meal outside not repaired by the scorching sun that, with the 25 degrees of October 30, prompted us to eat quickly by jumping the dessert. Nice experience, however, since in a few minutes from the refuge you can reach the large cross of Camaggiore where the view of the lake is superb. Further you can see other paths.

Alpine refuge in a rural village with a beautiful view of the eastern branch of Lake Como. Welcome with courtesy and have a good lunch.
