Piane Belle La Supa - VARALLO

Visited this restaurant on a recent visit to the area, enjoyed it so much returned the following week. Great atmosphere, food was delicious. The presentation of the food was also excellent, even the mixed salad was made to look like a flower. My husband ordered steak tartare and the owner brought all the ingredients on a trolley and made it in front of us, I ordered linguine which was the best I’ve tasted. We both ordered steaks from the grill, so tender and tasty my mouth waters when I think of it now. For pudding we ordered cream caramel .

We went here solely on the recommendation of other TripAdvisor customers. I can see why it has so many great reviews. Was better than we had imagined. The food was typical from the region and so delicious. We will be going back before we leave!

We ate here twice this week. For dinner we had grilled trout covered with almonds in sauce and rice with melted cheese, wine, coffees and tiramisu. Was delicious! For lunch we had the fixed menu for 10 euros with first (pasta) and second course (fish and side dish) with water, wine and coffee. All was tasty and great value for money. Only locals eat here but the elder male waiter speaks English and it's worthwhile following his recommendations!
