Bidrage med feedbackFlower and Horse in Spring is a new restaurant serving Yunnan Cuisine with their signature ‘crossing the bridge’ rice noodles. The legend of the noodles comes from the Yunnan Province where a scholar was studying for the imperial exams and his wife would make a long walk crossing a bridge to bring him his midday meal. The meal consisted of hot chicken soup with a layer of oil to keep the meal warm. She would carry the ingredients separately and combine them together when she gave him the noodles until he passed his exam.
A flower and a horse walk into a bar. The bartender says, 'Why the long face, buttercup? ' The horse begins to speak but is interrupted by the flower 'I think he 's talking to me, Buttercup. '
Small noodle house in the Westend, serving 'crossing the bridge rice noodles ', a specialty from Yunnan, China. <br/ You will be given a big platter of small side dishes, some rice noodles, then a hot clay pot of soup. You mixed all the ingredients into the pot to 'cook ' up your unique pot of noodles. <br/ The service was ok, and the food quality was decent. Will try again next time when I get tired of Ramen. <br/ ;
This noodle joint serves up quite the delectable meal! I was able to try their signature crossing bridge noodles which included the assortment of side dish plates which were to be self served into the soup, along with the pork intestine noodle. Their signature noodle was just typical in my books when it came to taste, but the presentation was pretty. The pork intestine noodles caught me off guard due to how tasty it was, and I generally steer clear of pork intestines. Definitely a must try!
My fav rice noodle place! I’ve been coming here for years and I like most of the items on their menu.
