El Tapatio - Vancouver

I can't give my rating solely on the food which is pretty decent, but on my general feeling going there. I really enjoy their carne asada and their Chile Colorado, but without a lot of sit down Mexican food options they have seen me pretty regularly over the years. I feel welcome and well treated by friendly staff. When we have a simple Mexican craving, we are never unhappy coming here.

For 30 years. tacos del carbon my favorites, everything else is great. service is top notch and they make a goouod drink.

Five stars because the chicken tortilla soup is the best I’ve ever had. The service was a little slow, but all our food (especially the soup) was worth the wait. We’ll be back! Thank you for the delicious meal!

Been searching all over Vancouver for a good chili Colorado burrito. I finally found a real good one. The flavor was a little off, a little too sweet. Could use a little more pepper flavor and less tomato. But with that said, the meat was tasty and tender. It made up for the lack of dark smoky chile flavor. Best I’ve found in town here.

The service was slow and sketchy. The food was only ok. The salsa with our chips was only a red sauce with only a (very few pieces of onion. The Shell for the Tostada Salad was way over cooked. The salsa' on my Huevous Rancheros was like the salsa served with our chips. It was also way over priced for what they served. Appetizers were $8-$12, while lunch prices were $9.50 to $12. I do not recommend this place and will not visit again.
