The Grain Cafe - Van Nuys

This place is great. the two courts we had were exactly what we wanted. the service was great. her own hot sauce was so good I bought a bottle! can wait to come back.

I'm so glad they went right in front of me into the neighbourhood. I love vegan food in walking distance and above all this place that has such a great variety. I came to breakfast, lunch and dinner and never was disappointed. they stand up, the cake, especially the tres leches! a thing I don't love is the coffee. it's always grainy. but never had a problem with something else. that is not the best when they sit outside. wish that they expand and open the back terrace or something and mason them with plants. love that they are dog friendly. also the employees are some of the nicest people I ever encounter in a restaurant. they are so really positiw and worrying. I'm very happy to have that close.

The first time here, looking for a fast google while I was in the opposite. expected not much, just needed a quick lunch but oh my, I'm glad I found it! eating was phenomenal! the best I ever had. that sounds dramatic, but I just had to appreciate how delicious it was for a second between the bites. had to enjoy the taste horchata was refreshing and delicious too! the staff is super friendly and the chefs are obviously very talented. I stared at her on my card and can't wait to bring my partner and sister here.

This wonderful, friendly, cozy spot is terrific. The service is so friendly and caring and the food is excellent. Everything is fresh and light with flavor and not oily or heavy. There seems to be ample parking on the street or in the small lot surrounding the restaurant. I loved the Dragon Roll and the tofu scramble with tempeh bacon, veggies and mushrooms.
