Arroyo’s Mexican Van Alstyne

We have had their food at a catered event and knew we had to come try more! We were not disappointed at all!! My husband got the Hawaiian fajitas and I got the quesobirria ? We moved to Gunter 2 years ago from south Texas and have been looking for GOOD mexican food ever since. It's safe to say we found our new favorite! There wasn't a single thing served that we didn't love! We will absolutely be back!

I hate giving nad reviews. I only give them out when something really just got on my bad side. ? ? to start of with everyone is nice, friendly, and respectful. We have been coming to this place for the past 2 years and every time we ask for fried fish they never have it and another thing my food was cold my wife's flautas were very hard to swallow very dry my son asked for sour cream pico de gallo and all veggies on the side we never received them it took the girl almost 10 minutes to come back to the table just to see if we were okay or not. Sadly to say we will not be coming back to this place to eat we will have to look for a new Tex-Mex restaurant...

This has become my favorite Mexican spot they gave you free salsa, and queso unlimited the staff is super friendly. The tacos are dynamite. You have to try this place if you have not been.

We discovered Arroyo’s thanks to American Express and the Delta SkyMiles Dining program. This is a nice and quaint authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Van Alstyne. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food for the money. The salsa is fresh and homemade, the street tacos are excellent and the Margaritas keep the good times flowing. Only thing missing is maybe some music in the background. We’ll definitely be back.

Sorry Arroyo I tried the new Toco place here and your still #1 here in VanAlstyne won't wonder off again!!
