The Loose Moose Pub - Valemount

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The room appeared to have been recently updated with nice flooring and no carpet. The motel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The restaurant offers excellent prices, is clean, and recently renovated. I do wish they had better curtains as I dislike light. The room includes a fridge and a big TV, and it is conveniently located right off the highway and close to other dining options. However, the walls are thin and the neighbors woke me up at 5:30 am. On the bright side, there is an abundance of scalding hot water, though surprisingly the cold water comes out freezing immediately, which I found to be a unique feature.

Current owners are slowly improving this facility. I was able to get a newly renovated room which although It had outdated decor was comfortable with most things in good repair. It's located in a rather busy part of town so I suggest requesting a quiet room, a newer room, and maybe even ask to see it first, especially if you haven't paid yet. There are reports of the owners being rather rude to clients and it is unclear if that continues to be an issue. Read all the reviews you can. Make your mind up. We had good wifi and a quiet night although the trains roll by in the wee hours of the morning with horns blasting.

The owners were very kind and welcoming. My family did not expect much since we were just passing through, but this was the best price and close enough to Jasper. Our room came with a big fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was comfortable, clean, and the location is right around the restaurants in Valemount. In the checkin area there is also coffee and tea available. Best Inn I've stayed in.

The owners are lovely and do their best to make your stay an enjoyable one. They were understanding and willing to accommodate us in every way possible. Really helped us get on our way to have a fantastic vacation exploring Canada's National Parks. Their newly renovated rooms were pleasant to stay in and were the nicest to be found in Valemount. Had the basic amenities anyone could ask for and had really comfortable beds to rest in after a long day driving. Also, the price alone is a steal considering how close it is to Jasper and the surround parks. Would definitely come here again. Made our road trip that much better.
