Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely recommend this place for warm satisfying Indian food. crispy nann brot, generous portions of fluffy basmati rice and fast friendly service. our lamb curry (kashmirilam) was rich in a real amount of sicily. the curry tasted of delicious meaty broth and a part came with many soft boneless lamb cubes. the chicken corma (murg corma) has a creamy sauce and tastes good, but the lamb was the star. a bowl with fresh crispy salad was the perfect companion. the restaurant is tastefully furnished for a date, a family or a group of restaurants.
What. An. Experience! The 2 of us averages were looking for a nice, cozy and tummy-filling place to dine at in Vadsø, when we stumbled upon Indigo, and what an experience we had there! We came in the middle of the day on a saturday, and we had the whole restaurant for ourselves for like 90% of our stay, which was quite the nice surprise! Dine in peace is what we did then, yes. Friendly staff as well who greeted us and presented us with the menus asap. The main courses cost from 315NOK and up, so it 's not the budget-friendly restaurant for the average being, but wow, the food we got was amazing! We were presented with packed stews that contained enough to fill our bellies and more! I believe I filled my plate at least 3 or 4 times until I was stuffed. And they didn 't spare anything on the rice either, trust us on that! They also get a plus for mixing up a nice salad to go with the dinner. Not that we are professionals or anything, but it seems like they had quite a lot to choose from when it came to appetizers and main courses. The waiting time didn 't seem to be long either, but we cannot say anything on that since we were the only ones there... From the looks of it, it seemed to be clean enough for us. But, it was the brilliant combo of sheer silence and peaceful atmosphere and packed dinners that was the wow-experience and that made our visit well worth it. All in all, we are most definitely happy with our stay at Indigo, and will gladly visit again! Ok, it 's not a budget restaurant or an everyday restaurant since they are a tad bit pricey, but we definitely left the place with bellies well-filled with delish food! Highly recommended, absolutely! Will definitely revisit Indigo, yes! PS: Forgot to take photos, but then again; the hungry bellies made us forget to snap some photos, heh...
The thickened curry and bark curry had dessert here with a homemade chocolate cake. the curry was seasoned well enough and the taste was good overall. the chicken was moist and very tender. the bark was very tender, but not as good as the hunch for me. the tear has been made more or less perfect. the salate was overall good and fresh. the naan was okay, but it felt something as annoying or otherwise just not as crispy as I like it. the chocolate cake was made home and the disc I got was also quite large. I thought it was hard, but it felt quite fluffy and decently easy to eat. it came with cream and ice cream with chocolate sauce above. I could have done personally without the chocolate sauce, and the ice was only three colors of the last. great atmosphere and intentionally scattered with Indian historical objects around the place. very rustic and classic eating and looking. the only thing I had a little sniff was the price. it felt all a little high price wise, and felt that it would have been 20-30% cheaper to be really good. price for each main dish was 350 and 400kr.
Spiste nydelig indisk mat der. Er jeg i Vadsø flere ganger blir jeg garantert å stikke innom.
Beautiful Indian restaurant in the Far Eastern part of the norweg. her share is sufficient for a normal person. Eating is also good.
