Kohi Noor - Uttoxeter

I barely know where to start with this lot. Cold poppadoms, an hour and ten minute wait for the food. 3 items missing when it did come. Raw doughy rotti, burnt nan, tough meat in their special. Raw egg in the rice. First time in my life I have not left a tip at a restaurant. Shocker

This was a strange experience but nothing the restaurant could have done; we were the only ones here!! Both had Mixed Kebab starter, shared Mushroom rice and Special Nan, Sag Aloo. For mains, we had Lamb Tikka Bhuna and Mixed Korai. The starters and sides were lovely, but the mains were average tasty, but nothing special. Bring your own booze fine, but probably the reason nobody else was there (we reckon people probably just order takeaway and drink at home).

Dined here with friends after the races, plenty of choice from a varied menu, and very reasonably priced, food is flavoursome and good quality, the place has a good ambiance and is popular, bring your own drink is always good and it all makes for a good experience. Special mention to Miah who looked after us, very friendly and gave excellent service. Will return.

We booked as a table of 13 last weekend. Food was delicious as always and the service was excellent, always a warm welcome. The food all arrived to the table at the same time which takes some doing when there are 13. We have been many times before and always had a fabulous experience.

Our favorite restaurant in uttoxeter for a curry. Fantastic service run by Meir and his family. Brilliant tasty food.
