Downey's - Ulysses

Never had a bad meal at Downey's. The staff is always great. Even when it's cold outside.

Such a great little place to stop for either take out or dine in. Great prices and portions. Fish fry excellent, as is their Pizza and subs.

Our group sat down about five minutes before the kitchen closed (not too many places open late in Ulysses, but Downey's). We are from out of town, but felt very welcome. All five of us split a sheet-sized supreme pizza, which was LOADED with quality ingredients. We were only able to stuff down about half the pizza before we threw in the towel about 45 minutes past their closing time; never once did we hear any grumbling or feel like we were an inconvenience. Kaitlyn did a great job, made sure we were taken care of, without making us feel rushed at all. Thank you for a fantastic meal and the hospitality!
