Greek hospitality in action! We just went in because there were a lot of locals sitting there not knowing whether we would be understood. The boss immediately greeted us with a handshake and we were served by his two sons, who spoke a little English. Drinks were asked for, the rest went by itself: various Cretan things were simply served, everything was very tasty and in incredible portions, various starters and extremely tasty pork for the main course the Greek salad was also extremely tasty. We didn't know what it would all cost, but we never felt uncomfortable about it and we weren't disappointed! When the half liter carafe of wine was empty, the boss motioned to the son to bring a fresh one because he wanted to toast with us. Whether I paid it or he didn't ultimately matter, we ended up paying 39 EUR for 3 people including drinks more than fair! Definitely recommended if you are on the Lasithi plateau a little further there is a huge restaurant where all the buses are always unloaded, so don't mix them up!
