Imperial Banquet - TUGGERAH

I had to wait for 5 minutes to be served, and during that time an elderly woman got into a confrontation with a coworker that led to both of them being fired. Finally, when I was served, the crispy boar with fried rice was extremely unappetizing. I will not be returning to this restaurant due to the poor customer service experience.

Condemned our order, eating was bad and service terrible. that was a great place earlier, but we won't go back.

What can I say?, we were often imperial banquet and recommended it everyone. We bought some more ripped out on the other day and thought it wasn't up to the usual standards and thought they could have just one off day....but after we go to eat today. how wrong we were. the black bean was tasteless with a thin watery sauce, the rice that was the best on the coast before was absolutely tasteless, and the rich bark was not sure whether it was a curry or satay?! I asked about our money back because it wasn't worth telling it was served, the girl said there okay, and then she decided we didn't have our money back. after her money was returned I was back. this was formerly the best Chinese on the coast, but beware REGULARS....IT is under new ownership and that is what it was rubbish. never.

This is always our “go to” Chinese when we are in this area. It used to have the best food. This visit was a little different. No staff, tables took forever to be cleaned, and our beef and black bean had no flavour what so...ever and the sauce was runny and the meat was chewy. The food has always been good, but this was just yuck!!!!! We left half of it on the plate. Don’t think we will come back.

Family decided to go away for a day trip now the pandemic is at bay for now. On our way to the central coast, we booked this chinese restaurant in Tuggerah. It was in the shopping centre, we sat at the outside settings so there...was a fair bit of foot traffic. The service was great, and the highlight was the BBQ duck but the rest of the food was very nice and generous serving. Will definitely come back.
