Nates Cheesesteaks - Tucson

I didn't know what to expect from Nate's but we wanted to try a local spot. There should have been more signage as to where to go inside and the lights were off so it was confusing. Deeply dissatisfied with the cut/texture of the chicken cheese steak. I didn't expect chopped up chicken breast. Really off-putting to me. Didn't get a photo of the beef but if I was going to pick again, I'd get the beef because of the typical texture and cut you expect with a cheese steak. Thegarlic fries were good. I will probably go to Frankie's or Philly's Finest instead because they have the cut of meat I'm looking for.

B.Y.O. beef extra meat is easily over 2lbs .If you are looking for a MASSIVE steaming heap of beef, cheese, and onions on a greasy bun barely keeping everything together in all it's artery clogging magnificence. This is what you need. You know what you're getting yourself into, but there will be time for ramifications later, you come here for pure endulgence, and nates has never disappointed. I do wish the subs were cut in half, but they might have their reasons for notcutting them.

We ordered our food to go and OMG unbelievable!! The bread is so fresh and delicious. We got the cheesesteak, eggplant parm sandwich and the meatball sub! Mouthwatering! Huge portions! Great customer service!! Will definitely be back.

Was having vehicle work done. Took a walk found Nates. Wow the food was soooo good. I had a chicken philly, Was 1of the best sandwiches ever. If you haven't been there give it a try. You'll go back again and again.Thank you Nates for great food and the best service. See you soon!

We were only looking for a good cheese steak found paradise. The food was delish they even gave us pasta garlic bread to try. Everything was soooo good. The ONLY thing I'd tell them, is a tad less salt in the veggie mixture, but the taste was STILL superb. The cheese steak was huge had a really good amount of thin cut meat, like I like. You will love Nate's. Enjoy!!!
