Taco Mama Trussville

So much better than the Crestline location. Awesome food and service.

The food was just meh. I had a chorizo burrito and it didn't taste authentic. My wife's bowl was also just ok and a friend who dined with us got a quesadilla which looked like something you could make at home. I expected better for a $70 bill. Despite the food, the place was packed. The highlight was the staff. Everyone was very good and friendly.

I should have made this review sooner, better late than never. *This review is for a June 2022 wedding.*We had Taco Mama cater our wedding, honestly I am not too sure it was the Trussville location, but it is the location closest to me and I would be happy to provide an additional review if needed.We were looking for something simple for our wedding. Everyone loves Tacos and a lot of our friends love Taco Mama. We had a great experience. No issues with the delivery, perfect timing. The food was great, we did the taco and nacho bar. As expected, everyone loved it.

They have lost my business. Husband came in for an interview and was told that he was the most qualified so far but they had a couple more interviews but he would get a call in 2 days to let him know if he had the job or not. After over a week of no communication my husband calls and finds out that they went with someone else and didn't even bother to call and let him know. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. He has been looking for a job for a couple of months, and thought he finally found one. Then, they do this? I will never be back.

Food was good and the tacos were loaded with meat. This location has a great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.
