Clean sharp setting delicious food. Hole in the wall kinda place

Placed my order at 8pm got there at 8:30pm and still waited 15min for my order to be ready. Got home and found beans in my food. Called the place back and they said bring the food back and we will give you a new order. Explain to him that I live 10 minutes away. And have twin toddler I have to get to bed. He said bring it back and we will give you a new order. At the end I didnt bother going back becuase im not going to waste gas driving back and fourth but for sure they will not be taken my money anymore will be going to stokos from now on. Really disappointed.

Fried chicken made to order..Hot , fresh and juicy..Food: 5/5

Ordered from Grubhub and the chicken looked fresh but had an odor, as if the the meat was starting to turn. Even my cat turned away from it She usually gobbles up the skin from other fried chicken places I order from . Called the restaurant to alert them and the guy on the phone got very defensive and then hung up on me. ! I do not like to write negative reviews, but if it 's a question of safety I feel it to be my due diligence to warn others. Please beware and note the many 1 2 star reviews, all of which affirm my own troubling experience, with added comments about the lack of sanitary practices at the restaurant. Is New York to add a note of prestige to their business? Should be called New York Fried Chicken and Salmonella .

They should really only be getting 3 stars because they messed up my order bad but I'm gonna let them make it this time.Let me tell you how the messed it up and how they were able to redeem themselves.THEY FORGOT MY LEMONS OR LIMES. I MADE A NOTE LIKE THIS SO THEY WOULDN'T FORGOT)I ASKED FOR MASHED POTATOES AND THEY GAVE ME COLESLAW. I ASKED FOR A SNAPPLE AND THEY GAVE ME CANNED LEMONADE. THEIR FRIES SUCKED AND UNFORTUNATELY I CAN'T RATE THE FISH OR SHRIMP BECAUSE I DON'T EAT THAT STUFF WITHOUT LEMON OR LIME.They were able to redeem themselves with their fried chicken and their banana pudding. Their Mac and cheese was good but not unforgettably delicious. I'm honestly very disappointed that my order even after SPECIAL NOTES was still managed to get mixed up. The Uber eats guy was super friendly and had nothing to do with the mix up.If I come back I look forward to trying their fish and shrimp.
