La Petite Auberge - Tourtour

On our bike trip in the headwater, staying in four hotels, this was by far the best. starting with the room, our view of the absolutely stunning mountain chain, which is one of the highlights of the trip, and also blessed the outer esstic. service. was excellent, the rooms were great, the only damper was when the slightly stressed owner became angry at me because I used the wrong towel when I went into the pool, which would have done calmer and more understanding. altogether though a great hotel.

The restaurant in this hotel serves every evening a great dinner, another menu. Local people who do not stay in the hotel seem to use it for family occasions. better than the 3* of the hotel would suggest.

The situation is spectacular ,with a view southwards over Provence from an elevated position, enhanced by a beautiful sunset . There is a set menu which is well planned. The food was delicious,beautifully presented and the service attentive and faultless .

An evening to remember. Lovely intermezzo' s from chef. Excellent service and atmosphere. Much more than just an eating... Highly recommended!

We invited friends who have lived in the region the last 23 years and they recommend this restaurant. Location and view on the valley is perfect. Menu choice is perfect they had 1 only), quality and taste were excellent. All tables full, so only complain ...about the time between the different dishes. Not cheap € 65 pp) but this is the Provence and not a cheap region.
