Despite its outlook and its bohemian aspect, this place is simply not recommended except for pirates who will not care about the alarmant lacks hygiene. The glasses are not washed but simply rinsed, the staff smokes in the kitchen, the server takes our order by frantically sniffing, and lots of things like that, I hallucinated... Any police official should resolve 3 or 4 investigations just by going to take a drink on site. Uninterested establishment, you have to see it to believe it.
When we saw the reviews, we decided to sign up to give our opinion on Toucy's bistro. We go 2 or 3 times a week, because we love the philosophy of the place. It is above all a bistro with bistro restoration. So those who love good French food pass your way. Here it is more tartines, pasta and underground culture. We like to go because most products come from local and organic producers, so no tomatoes before mid-July. We know that the card is not fully available because it depends on one week to another of the deliveries of the small pickles and the quantity available. Since the bistro was very engaged we attended conferences on deforestation, on the car (local currency), screening of small films on ecology. They were also the office of France Unsubmitted during the presidential elections. The fresh pasta is made with sponge flour, which suits us because it is poor in gluten. We come mainly for tartines, and for the fact that the dishes are almost not salted, as well as for cheeses from a small organic farmer in the region. So, yes, it can't please everyone, and if you want burgundy beef, then it's not your restaurant. Long summer, let us take ice cream with the fruits of the garden again. My first horrible opinion, no choice. The welcome, it's okay, but we're settled between the flipper who died with his two empty bottles in glass and that of the recyclable plastic underneath and the table under which we buried the chairs that are broken. I had a bad feeling, but when everything is full elsewhere... I kept a good memory of years back, but not there. here we have everything wrong, the entrance is not top and the dish is even less, plus we put the same filling on both dishes! Why? chopped steaks are not good or flavored but not everyone's taste when you don't expect it. You have to ask for bread, water, wine ordered. The pates are saying to the spelt are zero, dry and seasoning! You see the kitchen in a b.rdel... monster. I'll go back because we'll see it right away when it changes ownership, I'd like a professional or someone who wants to do the next time. Help.
We came to dinner in the week. Despite a card provided, there was almost no choice to eat. The dishes were good overall, but the pasta was glued by place. The cheese had no taste. For desserts, there was almost no choice either. Burned creams were too sweet and mostly too burned. Despite that, the staff was very friendly.
