Delicious. We had pork souvlaki and lamb gyro, both just delicious. We also had a dip sampler with hummus, tzatziki, and whipped feta, which we almost finished and not going to lie, I took the last scoop of each home with my leftover lemon potatoes and ate them together today. Even the Greek fries were amazing, so crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We would definitely go back.
The gigante beans and lemon potatoes have become a favorite meal of mine since we came to the area a few years back and I will CRAVE these foods big time. I think we should just have a standing order every three weeks or something : . My family loves the hummus and falafel, though the falafel is on the spicy side and I am not a big falafel person these days anyway. The stuffed grape leaves are also good. We haven't eaten there in person, we get take out usually, but one day we will eat there!
Excellent food. The atmosphere feels like you're in a European setting. The floors are made of stones I think. I had their chicken gyro and their Mykos beer. I liked the beer but that gyro was really good. I'd come back.
We were in the region attending a family event and decided to try Yia Yia's. Living in Montreal, we have access to a lot of good Greek food, from souvlaki joints to high-end Milo's. And Yia Yia's is a great spot, very cute and understated, exceptional wait staff and decently priced food. Would like to return and try more dishes. Food was plentiful and gave it only 4 stars because the chicken brochettes were very dry, even in the pita sandwich. I realize that the chef is concerned by salmonella but this was very dry. Highly recommend this restaurant.Vegetarian options: There seemed to be a good variety of options including spanakopita, tyropita, dolmades, salads, etc...
