Avenida Praia - Torreira

We selected this restaurant based on the TA reviews. We were well greeted when we arrived and asked if we wanted to sit indoors or outdoors, and we chose the latter although there was some wind. We have ordered some starters, including some gambas (big...prawns) which were excellent. The main dish we ordered the Bacalhau á Avenida and he was good, and one dose was enough for people. With water and a couple of desserts the total bill came at slighly higher than € which was definitely good value for money. Definitely a place to go if you are in the area.

We ate like royalty. Great value for the price. Grilled octopus, grilled sea bass and porco à alentejana were all cooked to perfection. The staff was kind and took time to answer our questions.

The quality of the fish and the octopus is awesome. I would repeat every time i came to Torreira. Recommended

Great menu, lots of good Portuguese food and wines, just next to the beach with outdoor tables. Easy to park
