Lou's On The Hill - Torrance

It was a great surprise! We went to our jubilee and we enjoyed every dish we ordered! We had not expected so much because the menu is not so big, but it was a nice surprise to find a great place so close to our home. We ordered the salmon and the lamb frame. Both delicious and large portions. For appetizers we shared the Calamari, which was very good. Everything was good again from the appetizer to the dessert! Also the service was pretty good! Very friendly. Thank you for a great time. We'll be back.

I had a birthday. Recommended by a friend. Nice decor. Not many people currently. Very quiet. Very good waiter. Very good food. We're going back. Only the theme is to park.

The food was good. Very loud atmosphere for a date night. Easy experience with the rude valet participant. Husband and I went to our keys lying on the floor while the visitor parked other cars. Annoyed, we went to get our own car parked on Hawthorne Blvd. with wheels that touch the spab. We probably won't go back here because of the bad experience with the Valet.

For people who care about what they eat, this is the place for you. The menu lists wild salmon - not only salmon. When the beef is fed, it is listed as such. Kellner will tell you what choices are organic, and menu lists some gluten-free items. They recently started a Sunday brunch. I love her food and have eaten there six times in the last 45 days.

If I owned a restaurant, I would not like to be reviewed as ok . It was our second time there we had been at the restaurant during the soft opening and it seemed better then. There was nothing wrong with the restaurant but nothing terrific. The calamari appetizer was very strange, served poached in a lukewarm butter/garlic sauce.
