Beijing House - Torfaen

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The service was fast and we had no trouble finding parking. We ordered the Kung Po Chilli Chicken but were disappointed to find that there was no hint of chili in it. It tasted more like a sweet and sour chicken dish. My husband's lamb dish was just okay, nothing extraordinary, and not as crispy as it had been described. Overall, we found the experience to be very disappointing. Even though this place had a higher rating than our usual takeout spot that we enjoy, we are unlikely to return.

The food was served promptly, but unfortunately all the dishes tasted the same and were of low quality. The poor cooking was disappointing, especially since this restaurant is in my neighborhood. Sadly, I will not be coming back again.

Food was nice quality don't get me wrong, but chips were only half A bag, chicken balls in better were half the size of usual takeaways. Rice seemed A bit dry and to top it off it cost £5:50 for four ribs!! Won't be ordering A takeaway form them again, that's for sure! Too skinny on portions and don't get half as much for your money as most of the other Chineses round here!!

At the peak of lock down we ordered a Chinese on a weekend and it was amazing as delivered in less than 20 minutes. Nice and hot. Would recommend.

After reading lots of positive reviews and recommendations on Facebook and The owner replied to my queries on Facebook . We ordered our 1st takeaway from there. They answered the phone straight away and food was delivered within an hour. The food was hot and delicious. We won't hesitate to order from there again
