Bidrage med feedbackEven though there was only one vegetarian gyoza option, it was absolutely delicious. The brown rice with azuki beans was also delicious! I would definitely order this meal again. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, with its cozy, intimate counter seating area.
We stopped by on a Saturday night for some snacks and a drink, as it was the nearest option to our Airbnb. While everything we ordered, such as vegetable gyoza, edamame with salt, and complimentary sliced vegetables, was delicious, we found it to be quite pricey. The prices displayed did not include tax, and there was also a 300 yen per person cover charge that we were not informed of. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy, and the staff were knowledgeable about vegan options. We ended up paying approximately 3600 yen for 10 gyoza, edamame, and two beers, which we felt was a bit expensive.
I only stayed for two rounds because I didn't want to seem greedy by asking for a third. I really enjoyed the gyoza, the ambiance, and the people. The price was very reasonable to me. The gyoza may cost the same at other places, but they aren't as delicious. Make sure to inform them if you avoid fish stock, as some complimentary dishes may contain it.
The inside of the shop is very comfy. You take off your shoes before you enter. We ordered the veg gyoza, and it was quite good, but a little on the oily side for me. We assumed we were going to get something with the gyoza (since we saw they served other people with rice and sides), but we ended up getting only the gyoza. The staff didn't speak much English at all, so I didn't really try to find out whether we could get more things with the gyoza or not. The English menu was very confusing and it didn't really say that you could order a set with the gyoza.
Although only a vegetarian gyoza, it was certainly delicious. also the brown rice with azuki was good! I'd get that food back. also loves the restaurant atmosphere! small space counter space.
