Bidrage med feedbackThe Wang's Kitchen in Tiruvannamalai is situated on Polur Road, approximately 1.7kms from the bus stand. The restaurant has ample seating and the service is satisfactory, with food being served promptly. However, the taste does not justify the price paid, and many items on the menu are not available. The prices are on the expensive side, with a noticeable increase after the implementation of GST (Goods and Services Tax).
We were pleasantly surprised to discover a Wangs Kitchen location in Thiruvannamalai. We were even more impressed by the affordable prices and delicious dishes that were not available at their Chennai branches, such as the Coriander Chicken. The soups and main courses were all consistently tasty. Unfortunately, when we returned the next day for lunch, we were disappointed to find that they were without electricity and their generator was out of service, preventing them from cooking. We were disappointed to miss out on another opportunity to enjoy their food!
I was excited to try some delicious Chinese food after seeing Wang's pictures and descriptions on the online menu and ratings. Unfortunately, the reality did not live up to my expectations. The portions of vegetables, prawns, and fish were small and not at all like what was advertised. The thinly sliced fish was coated in a heavy, oily sauce, the shrimp were small and not whole, and there were only a few pieces of shredded vegetables scattered throughout. When I requested more broccoli, there was none available. In the end, I paid 770 rupees for a disappointing meal. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day, but it was definitely a lesson learned.
Good place for Indo Chinese food with lot of vegetarian options as well. Their combo for Veg fried rice, Soup and Manchurian tastes good and the quantity is satisfying. The menu has wide varieties and interesting but the food you get is Indian Chinese only. It was easy to place the order on the phone, and the whole order was read back to us and reconfirmed which is good. We were also honestly told it would take up to half n hour to deliver . Order confirmation was received by mobile, and another text followed as soon as the order was ready to be sent to us. The food specially rice varieties are tasty. Noddles are also good, reasonably priced and service is good.
From China to tiruvannamalai!!The restaurant offers an array of dishes on the menu for both non vegetarian and vegetarians alike. The specials are the seafood dishes. Our visit was on a lazy Sunday. A well planned and laid menu was presented to us. Each dish was even marked with the intensity of hotness(spice). We ordered a mixed platter of both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods of Mixed Schezwan chopsuey and Singapore noodle. The ambience and expertise of the servers are worth mention. Food is at par with Chinese restaurants and the prices reasonable. Overall, worth the visit to scintillate your taste buds.
