Tiru German Bakery - Tiruvannāmalai

One of the best experiences. the ashram. is super peaceful. closed from 11 to 14 o'clock. opened at 5.45 o'clock eating, the love and care with which they serve, they can actually try it. the meditation hall, scrub, everything has a vibe that cannot be talked about much. it must be experienced. would have loved to get even more time and visit the skandamam cave, the way that starts from inside out the ashram. I'd like to come back here and stay in ashram.

More beautiful place to sit and embrace. many foreigners who know this fact come to this place regularly to sit and meditate in front of ramana statue. it is a good place, does not play a role, whether they are a spiritualist or an ordinary man, this ashram will leave them with fascination.

I like this restaurant and it's food. Great staff, beautiful western owners with humble heart and unique dishes and delicious snacks. Great salads and nice drinks. Beautiful live music from time to time.

While I cannot give an opinion on food, I only had bread and tea; I will say the attitude of the servers was very indifferent and even rude. I was ignored for a while that I originally didn't mind when I thought they were... busy. Since no one offered a menu or checked for me at my table, I decided to go to the counter to order. Again, no one offered help while I'm standing there for a while. I started asking questions about the few still available bakeries (it was about 6 a.m.) just to get short uninterested answers as “if you decide to let me know”. I tried their “German” cakes, but there were no more cakes. Since I was not familiar with the other few baked goods they had available, and they seemed quite unfriendly to answer questions, I ended the order of bread and Masala chai. The tea was good, but it's pretty good almost everywhere in India, and I probably paid twice as everyone outside chai stand. Also the rest of the food could be good, the service is pretty bad. At least it was terrible today.

The food at this restaurant was not good. It tasted old and it seems like the hype around it was unwarranted. I ordered the apple cake and was told it was old and they were trying to sell it to other places. The taste was not enjoyable.
