I had the best baguette ever in this pub! delicious. it is a traditional olde worlde pub with friendly owners. large traditional kitchen. highly recommended for a No-Nonsense pub in the country.

This charming, traditional art pub features an eclectic mix of decor. It offers a selection of real ales, and the food is both high-quality and excellent value for money. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There are double, single, and twin rooms available, with breakfast included in the price. It’s one of my favorite pubs in the area.

My daughters and I frequently visit The Ship since we live in the village. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly, and they always remember our usual order. The food is incredible! We love going to The Ship and often bring our friends and family along. I would highly recommend this pub to everyone!

It's a charming little pub and bistro with outstanding food and an excellent selection of beers on tap. I often visit the Newbury area for work, and although it's a bit off the beaten path, the short journey is well worth it.
