The Dugout - Texarkana

The Heater is the best burger in this city. The fish is excellent. They give you so much on the Nachos plate that you can't eat them. The onion rings are fantastic. The service of this family house is from this world.

The fish! The burgers! The fried green tomatoes! The Pommes! The chicken strips! All we tried was amazing! I never skip the fried green tomatoes! You're my Fave.

This place is the best we tried for the first time tonight, right before the storm. We placed our order and were just about the setting when the lights went out. They still prepared our food with perfection without complaints. The Redhead who took our order declared the menu and was very friendly they made suggestions and had the best setting. The owners who own this place have hired very well all the staff that was there. My son, who is 14 even noticed that he said mother that they were all really cool to sit in the dark and eat while waiting for the storm. Excellent place to eat and we will be safe again:
