The Verve - Terre Haute

This place is great, it should really have a better rating. the personal was super cool, the pizza next door is excellent, and they have a great stage with good sound and light.

A place that has it all. Comedy, karaoke, pool tables, pizza next door, music. There is one day out of the week for everyone.

Has a lot of potential but given the town and economy of Terre haute I see it only being occasionally fun when students are around

Don’t get me wrong I love the verve, I spend most of my free time having a good time there. But recently having my credit card open has been a problem.. my credit card always gets charged way more then I actually bought. Last night I asked for a receipt with all my drinks on it and the bartender helped everyone and made me wait for quite a while to give it to me. Multiple drinks were charged to my card and when I asked why I had so many drinks that were not mine and I was pretty much just threatened to pay my tab whether it was right or not. I will never charge my card there again because this usually happens when I charge my card. When I woke up another random 10 dollar charge was placed aside from the over charged price I had. I have been scammed like this three times now when my card was on tab

I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The lounge in the back, which is shared with Scout's Pizza, is a fantastic space as well.
