Auberge Sainte Marie-Madeleine - Tende

We had a fantastic stay in the auberge sainte Marie-Madeleine. the room was cozy and comfortable. exactly what we needed after a hard day plays in the snow. the owners were very charming and welcoming. the dinner was great. the dog sled tour is recommended definitiw. all together it was a great weekend and we will be back! thanks many.

Had drinks and only one special thing that was in order. do not expect too much in terms of service: the staff(owners? are montagnards and service does not seem to be on their agenda. the place feels good. must be great at the kamin in the middle of the winter. look fwd to get back to winter time acoustic! the dreams, pet type.

First guests in new pinienhütte simple, but stylish old, but modern stay in the new chalet at any time and can recommend for nature lovers, quiet and quiet.

(Note: the review is first line for the helpfulness of the owners, I/we never tested the restaurant I and my friends were last week for a night here and the owners were very helpful! we were four people, and we had a double room each. we. from limone in italien, to casterino, where this hotel is located. we were late and probably took a wrong turn somewhere, because it was very late, and we were lost. we crossed the peaks of the mountain and crossed the border to Frankreich in the evening at 20 21, and when we were not sure where we should go, we called the hotel. Unfortunately we really couldn't tell them where we were, and so we went in the darkness (with headlights.) we finally found the right way, but nevertheless the owners of the hotel had already found in their 4 with 4 car for us. a few kilometers from casterino, at 00:30 a.m., they found us and picked us up and drove us to the hotel. They didn't charge us for this very helpful and kind of them. because we arrived so late, we didn't eat there. the room is quite small, but clean and with a comfortable double bed in which we sleep well. there was an electric heater that worked very well, we used it to heat the room and also our equipment that was mostly wet dry. the shower was good; lots of hot water with good water pressure. in the morning we had a typical French breakfast. for a French breakfast it was ok; brot, butter, various jams, croissants (also the chocolate version, tee, coffee, juice and some spicy cheese. I am not a big fan of French breakfast, as I prefer, continental breakfasts, some cut ham / meats, slices of cheese, eggs etc., but almost all places serve this typical French breakfast, so it is just so everything I would say that the owners were very helpful for us, rooms were good and I have no complaining!
