Rodrigo's Mexican Grill - Temecula

We’ve enjoyed Rodrigo’s since 1994 in Moreno Valley when it was called Don Jose. Since then we’ve enjoyed Don Jose/ Rodrigo’s in Huntington Beach for 17 years and now This Rodrigo’s restaurant for the last 9 years. The food and salsa has always been very consistent and delicious over the years Until recently when the salsa has gotten very spicy. I’m giving them a 3 star rating for hit or miss service and why change a recipe that has worked for at-least 28 years that we know of.

Excellent shredded beef enchiladas and crispy shredded beef taco with perfectly cooked Spanish rice. Too much food to eat. You can easily share Tasty desserts and cocktails too!

Food was good, however service was very slow. A lot of staff walked by our table before anyone greeted us or offered to take our drink order. Chips and salsa took along time and so did our drinks. Refills of soda and beer nearly impossible to get. We were there on a Wednesday at 1:00 very surprised at our service.

We had a very nice lunch and visit with family. The staff was very attentive and the service was excellent. The general areas were clean and tidy and the food was very good. I had the lunch special fajitas and they came out sizzling hot. Taste was great and would highly recommend.

I've been coming to this place for over 40 years, and it's absolutely one of my top 5 Mexican restaurants to visit. Everything is fresh and delicious, it's got a great Atmosphere for couples. Come and see for yourself!
