Gentle Grill - Temecula

I really wanted to like this place, but on my second visit it still fell short. The buffalo cauliflower had a promising first bite, but quickly turned soggy after being packed into a cardboard box. The same fate befell the gentle fries, which were steamed in a closed box and continued to get soggier even after being opened. Both dishes would likely be better if served on a regular plate instead of being crammed into small boxes. I may give them another chance and opt for something like a salad instead.

I absolutely adore this place. The atmosphere is adorable and it makes me so happy to have a vegan restaurant in Temecula! Both my family (meat eaters) and I (vegetarian) really enjoy coming here. They always ask me to bring the food home. <3

This is the best vegan food I have ever had in the country. I have been traveling for work on a weekly basis for over 11 years and have been eating vegan for 9. I have tried vegan food in every airport and state, even in Mexico and Canada. The variety of the menu is impressive and the quality of the food is excellent. I appreciate that everything is made fresh and from scratch. The taste of the food is absolutely delicious. I truly adore this place.

Absolutely incredible food! They do not skip on the ‘meat’ and it’s all super delicious and satisfying. The Ruben was incredible. I love that it’s all vegan, but I’m sure it would please any non vegan too. I hope they can expand down to San Diego one day!
