La Fattoria - Tavarnelle val di pesa

This was a great find. We were on our way to another restaurant that ended up not being open so we found this on accident. It was great local food, very nice people, and a pleasant atmosphere. We actually ended up going twice during our stay! The tiramisu was excellent!

Very good dinner here tonight ! Great food Staff great !! Little hard to find the resturant but get directions. My husband ordered the grilled pork loved it. Would come again.

Four of us rented a house in Barbaresca val d'elsa and ate at La Fattoria 3 times. We had discovered it five years earlier. The owner/chef is great, and the food was the best! The wine selection was really good. And not too expensive. We were the only Americans in this place, both 5 years ago and on this trip, so that told us a lot. I still think about the pasta, the gnocchi, the meat. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed 2 nights in this restaurant because the Florentine was really 10 and praise. we also ate the excellent mixed appetizer and a super cheese dish. We will definitely come back!
