Chowder House Cafe - Tatamagouche

We had the club sandwich with fries and the soup and sandwich combo. Both were delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The fries were hot and crispy. Service was East Coast friendly!

We have been to the chowder house several times for breakfast and dinner. The fish and chips are the best around. Everything is very fresh and well presented. Nice atmosphere. I totally recommend this restaurant

Only good things to say about this place. They got our (slightly complicated) order perfect and in great time. The food was unbelievable. I ordered the seafood chowder. It was the best I have ever tasted. If you like pub style appetizers, the poblano peppers blew me away - so good!Passing through this area? You have to stop at the Chowder House Cafe.

Stopped in for a bowl of chowder as we drove through town on a particularly cold and rainy day in May.

We arrived at expecting to get breakfast which is advertised until We were told no they weren’t serving breakfast but yet one of our group ordered a Western Sandwich go figure! I ordered a French Onion soup, was told no we don’t...have that nor do we have lobster etc etc. We got up left. Poor service. Won’t be back!
