New Leaf Cafe - Tampa

This was second time going to New Leaf Cafe and it did not disappoint. So sad that today was their last day of being open. However I will be visiting their new location that is combined with Voodu Vegan Bistro that will be across from Bush Gardens really soon. Thank You for the Wonderful Vegan experience.

It's my second time here and I just love the Copperfield vegan chicken sandwich...the best one I've tried so far. This place is a good plant based option I'd highly recommend to anyone who's vegan, vegetarian or flexitarian or wants to cut down on animal protein and animal products..

I went here to pick up a Wish order and decided to get a coffee and a donut to take with me. The coffee was good, filled to the brim but the DONUT, omg soooooo good tasted fresh baked so soft and delicious. I order a maple frosted but there were other varieties. I love to support small businesses and this one deserves it.

The vegan food at this restaurant is average at best. The portions are small and the prices are high. However, the Ranger cookies are delicious. Unfortunately, I received an undercooked impossible patty and when I asked for it to be remade, I was told that's how it's always cooked. This response was off-putting and I was not impressed.

I live so close to this restaurant, yet it took me 8 years to discover it. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. I ordered takeout, so I didn't dine in, but they have a pleasant waiting area. The staff was very friendly. I tried the impossible burger and sweet potato fries, and they were delicious. The prices are reasonable. I plan to come back and try more items on the menu. It's a vegan restaurant, so there is no real meat available, but with food this tasty, who needs it?
