Bidrage med feedbackWe came here on a Sunday evening to celebrate my niece's birthday. the location itself was unusual: 2nd floor of a bank's corporate headquarters. while there were other restaurants on that level, Paprika was the only one open. i was surprised that they were open at that time. normally this kind of restaurant would cater to the BPO market, and there was no evidence that there was a BPO in the building nor nearby. the food items, as my title suggests, offered some interesting adaptations of classic Filipino food items: chorizo pasta (interesting, but average taste), adobo overload (recommended), fish fillet (good). what actually ruined the evening was that our excitement in discovering their Sunday All-Day Buffet offering was dampened when we were told that not all the buffet items were available. practically speaking, one simply CANNOT have all the buffet items. out of more than 10 items, i only reached 6 before i surrendered. still, it ruins the concept of "choice" even if they try to make up for it with "all-you-can-eat". oh, did i mention that they ran out of wine, too? ambience-wise, it was an interesting take on an industrial them. comfortable, with hints of being homey. would i recommend it? yes, but go on a weekday. their pantry would probably be better stocked by then.
They have a lot of unique items in their menu. The bagoong pasta is a must-try, and the adobo overload is perfect!
I love their pasta. Taste so good!. Must try! ;)
