Bidrage med feedback1st time for my wife I. I had the shrimp tempura bento the wife had the pork Katsura Danbury bowl. We were both impressed with the portions the presentation. We shared the white tiger roll sushi. It's a little hole in the wall near Michael's on 38th, near the Tacoma Mall. We highly recommend it will definitely be returning.
Well..a family dinner as we mourn our mom, she loved this place, we went with her many times. This time there were 14 of us in a private room. When the waiter comes to take our order, what an ordeal, seemed like he went in order around the table.. we wait and wait.. and wait, a couple appetizers brought out, then 1 person gets his meal served?. He doesn't return with food in any kind of order..3hrs we were there,it was awful service. No tab to give us. He comes and showed us the tablet, to pick what we ordered. He tells my husband, you have the rest $84 everyone else paid..ha.. no.. we didn't order for that, instead $48.. no apology for late food. The former family who owned restaurant was great.. this owner NODO NOT GO HERE..
Best Negi Hamachi roll: fresh fish perfectly seasoned with perfectly cooked rice. The grilled salmon bento : salmon is perfectly grilled , juicy and fresh. Like all the garnishes. Miso soup is made of real dashi and not salty at all.
The workers are very friendly but the truth is that the service is very, very, very slow, we waited 15 minutes for them to take our order and after ordering the food another 45 minutes for them to bring us the complete order and they still forgot a dish, they probably don’t have enough staff but the truth was a bit disappointing that they took so long for the food and I wonder why because there weren 't many people for them to take so long they only had about 5 seated tables including ours and at the end when we paid I asked for the receipt and the person who gave me the bill told me, you 're going to have to take a picture on my tablet ?? the place is nice but they take too long to bring the food, a lot of the food is expensive considering the service they provide and the truth is the food doesn 't have a taste to impress. The rice was very dry. It’s just an ok place and a little overpriced.
I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Miyamoto Roll, both were superb! Friendly waitstaff and lovely atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this place
