Denny's - Sykesville

The service was excellent and fast. The food was served on request. The server was very attentive and fast.

With very limited staff today, the manager, a server, two chefs and a bell hops, all males were greeted with a smile and served on time. They showed excellent teamwork and customer service! Great jobs!

The only reason I give him a 1 star is because I was disappointed to see one of the waitress, not to comfort the bread several times with her bare hands and then wiped her hands in her apron and touched other things, came back and again roasted bread and cut with her bare hands not even wash them. I grew up, I love Denny's always good time, but today I was disappointed. Please have them wearing gloves she was a Caucasian lady with bunny ears

Crystelle? I think was her name? Yeah no. Just rude, gave us watered down drinks, didn?t continuously check up on us, gave us the check and when asked if it could be separate, she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. Sat there and just waited for us to put our card in, and didn?t receive my receipt after that. Just absolutely unprofessional. Food was okay, but just felt a lot of tension and just not welcomed. Sundays are the best times to go as the staffing is different. Won?t ever be going back on a Saturday especially if that attitude continues.

Breakfast and dinner dishes are served all day, and food is higher quality than most diners. I got the bottomless strawberry lemonade and was disappointed that there weren't strawberry chunks in there. Grits and zucchini are bland so you will need to generously season those dishes yourself with the tableside salt and pepper. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was really tasty, and I wished there was more. The restaurant gave us plastic spoons and forks because they ran out of metal silverware. It was a bit difficult piercing my steak with a plastic fork. Staff is friendly.
