Margherita's Vinoteca - Sydney

Not very happy that I booked this place for NYE and received confirmation of my booking only to be closed at night and the entire place!!! Very disappointed!

Map position wrong. Hard to find, even with street address. Bad reception when we arrived. Nobody's ready when we moved in. Had to be for a better table than what we were offered, although restaurant was mostly empty. Slow service. Forgot one of the drinks and we had to ask them. Good average and small pasta dishes. Horrible Lemocello gift if pay-not to offer my partner who was pregnant. Very loud music. Not recommended.

Oysters were great! Service nice and menu was inventive. The decor and feeling is excellent. A new hotspot.

Margherita's was highly recommended by friends (many social media check in the photos! it has not disappointed! The dishes, cocktails, ambience, service decoration all contributed to an excellent culinary experience!

I was disappointed to have booked this restaurant for New Year's Eve, received confirmation of my booking, and then arrived on the night to find the entire place closed. Not very happy with the situation.
