Bidrage med feedbackI have passed by this restaurant a few times on my way to Kwantlen University. At first, I was unsure of what it was, but when I saw the sign for pupusas, I knew I had to stop in. It's a small restaurant run by two brothers and their mother, who are very friendly and welcoming. The menu is not as extensive as other Salvadoran restaurants I have been to, but considering they are new, it is understandable. I spoke with Mary, the cook, who mentioned that they will be adding more dishes to the menu soon, including "carne asada". I am excited to try the new dishes and desserts they will be offering. The pupusas here are some of the best I have had in a long time. Coming from New York, where there is a large Salvadoran community, I had the luxury of having a pupuseria on nearly every corner. However, these pupusas really stand out because they are homemade style, unlike the typical restaurant-style pupusas. It's hard to explain, but if you are Salvadoran, you will understand. They are thinner with cheese that slightly melts out and gets grilled, giving them a delicious flavor. The prices are reasonable, and they even serve horchata! I highly recommend this place.
I have been frequenting this restaurant for their pupusas since it first opened. I recommend pre-ordering as they can take a while to prepare, but they are definitely worth trying.
