Grand Lux Cafe - Sunrise

Went here on yesterday for mother's day dinner. Was told it would be an hour and a half wait which turned out to be 20 minutes which was great, the food was great as well. To explain my 3 star rating is simple: Don't text me that my table is ready then I wait 5 more minutes for silverware and plates to be placed on my table only to arrive to the table and the table is empty. The seating for 5 was so tight we had to place our feet between the person in front of us to be slightly comfortable. The silverware was dirty (so we got plastic utensils) and a few plates and napkins were dirty (so we turned them down on table) and lets not forget the food crumbs on the table. I understand the rush to seat people but come on, pay attention to detail. And what's up with the opened straws? Isn't Covid and germs still present? So all the servers get to place their hands in an open box of straws and place it in my glass for me to drink from? I don't think so! I politely asked for another glass without straws and pulled out the straws from my purse that were wrapped in paper. Come on! Really!! If these types of things don't bother you then enjoy your food and don't pay attention to the details.

Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Dora our server was the best!

I really like the food and service. The chicken soup is so good. I would highly recommend the stuffed chicken. Their desert are good as well.

Our server, Ricco of Venezuela is an exceptional server. He was cordial and gave us the 911 on the best meals on the menu. He made us feel welcomed and outside dining was nice, too!

First time and AWESOME. Went with my coworkers of Tampa Bay Lightning . We were headed to hockey game NHL PLAYOFFS ROUND 1 GAME 5. I will be coming back to dine.
