Fiery Ron's Home Team Bbq

Of all the great BBQ options we have here in Charleston, Home Team on Sullivan's Island is my favorite for the combination of atmosphere food(which I usually get to go). The bar scene is always lively and filled with happy faces; a combination oflocals visitors, it's a jubilant mix eating, drinking, being merry. The Smoked Chicken Wings are arguably the best in town,as are the BBQ Nachos, which are a meal for two! Other faves include the Fried Mac n Cheese, Tots w/Harissa Aioli, and FriedRibs App. Brisket Sammie Burger are very good, too. For libations, start with a Painkiller, I mean Game Changer(name changedyears ago for legal reasons)...and get the floater this is Charleston, after all!

Overall: We'll definitely be back for more delicious BBQ from the Sullivan's Home Team! The good: All the meats we've had there are delicious, from pulled pork to the wings, or my personal favorite the brisket sandwich. You can tell that they put the timeand effort into all of their dishes. Sides are amazing as well, with favorites like mac and cheese, baked beans, or hash andrice. Their outdoor seating isn't huge but luckily we've able to sit there every time we visit. Live music on one the Fridaynights we were there, and service is always friendly and attentive. Decent sized menu and specials, including plenty of drinkoptions. The not-so-good: Crowded and loud. Sauces could use a bit more variance, but that's a bit of a nitpick. On oneoccasion they ran out of several menu items. Food/drink:9/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10

Great service. Delicious food. Tacos, BBQ pulled pork, potatoe salad. Really good. Definitely recommend going if you enjoy BBQ.

Just wow We got the pulled pork nachos which were fantastic. The flavors pair so well together. The wings were excellent. The fried ribs were the most satisfying since it was unexpected. The sides were awesome. The pulled pork was the only thing thatisn?t a 10.

We enjoyed a perfect lunch at Home Team today! The tater tots and the sauce served with them were so good! The quarter chicken was the best I?ve ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were also top notch! My husband said the pulled pork and hashwere also amazing. Highly recommend!
