Bidrage med feedbackWe always come for a walk to the dip when visiting family , a great spot to sit and have coffee and cake and look out to sea , today I had one of the homemade cheese scones it was one of the best I have ever eaten , whatever the weather always a great establishment for a warm welcome and delicious fair, great ice creams in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter .
Coffee was £3.40 for a tiny cup, lukewarm. They can charge what they like as they are the only cafe open.
On a cold damp winters day when out for a walk with your pup along the dip you pass a small kiosk situated above the promenade and on this day 26th Jan we were surprised it was open. Two coffees and two paninis served up within a few minutes, the person serving was standing in for the owner and was extremely courteous. No tables or chairs were out as everywhere was deserted due to a miserable day although we were offered a couple of chairs.
Love love love the sausage roll. Such a large, elaborate and tasty food from such a small beach cafe. 100% would recommend.
They do the best egg mayo sandwiches I've ever tasted. Lovely hot cup of Yorkshire tea in a proper mug. All enjoyed at their outdoor seating area with a fabulous view of the sea.
