2KM Hiking from the Westeras Restaurant (Overnight Parking lot, beautiful hike to the viewpoint to see Geiranger Fjord. You can see Llama on the way! We made the hike with our two children (6
Vesterås and Løstad are two different lookout points on a way that starts from Geiranger by Hotel Union. Had this hike on a wet and rainy day and it was like walking in rivers of the mud most of the way. I would not recommend this hike in the rain. 4.8 miles to do both points. 3 hours total with 2100 feet altitude gain. Views were okay, but nothing special. Very nice hike in general but make sure you do it on a sunny day. Would recommend this hike.
Amazing views, moderate hike, about one hour from the centre.
Nice view down. Not too technical, you need approx. 1h upward. But it can also be overcrowded.
