Lovely food and service as usual from this place. I always try something new and always love it. Everything is always spot on

I went with a group of friends almost on a whim. I, and the rest of us were so glad we did! The food and service were really, really good quality and at a very reasonable price. 4 of us, we had the set meal for 4 altogether with drinks £100. We all decided this would not be the last time we would visit! If there was a negative, the 'facilities ' are a bit in need of attention.

Tonight we phoned in an order at 6.25pm. We were told it would take 50 minutes as they were busy. Didnt mind. So 7.15 we arrived out the back. 8.10pm i was still stood waiting along with 7 other people. People who were told 8pm were all getting served so all 7 of us asked how long ours would be and the young girl said ....here.. if you dont like waiting theres plenty of other chinese to go to. Fine. I promptly phoned lotus express for a home delivery and came away. Such a lovely night in the cold and such a lovely attitude from the girl. Obviously they are so good that they dont need the custom. I order here every week and have family meals inside but i now have a bitter taste in my mouth !!!!! Annette

Food ok avoid mixed grill. Clearly more interested in takeaway customers than dining in. Even getting staff off the phone to pay by card proved impossible.

This place is an absolute billingham gem! Lovely authentic food and a lovely retro vibe, however if you are wanting a flashy restaurant this isn’t for you. The food is amazing, it has good soup and as someone who is a lover of good food this is a definite must try. I’ve been coming here for years and honestly I couldn’t recommend it more!
