Maverick's Real Roast Beef Stillwater

Before driving from Woodbury to Stillwater I checked the online menu to verify that the pork tenderloin sandwich was still served. It was so we made the drive. The counter person informed us that they no longer carry it. Get it off the menu please. All we talked about was that sandwich on our drive. Nothing like a let down because your online menu is not kept current. You now have two less customers.

Food was great! The roast beef melted in our mouth. Friendly staff.

I am so disappointed that my order was horrible today. I ordered a corned beef sandwich and it was SO SALTY that I could not even eat it. Had my husband try it just to make sure it wasn't just me. He said NOPE that is disgusting. I don't mind a little salt, but this was really bad. I called to let them know that is was not edible and Kim answered the phone and said that is how we present it. She would pass the word along. i responded you can't even eat it. She said ok. That was it. I said I will make sure to post a review and she said ok. Makes me sad because I really liked this place and now I will never eat there again. Just completely dismissed my concern.

Arbys Beef “N” Cheddar would’ve been better. When you order beef and cheddar it’s suppose to be cheddar not nacho cheese. Only thing good about the meal were the cheese curds

I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances, I’ve always appreciated Good quality meat, especially in sandwiches, but this just isn’t it. I first tried this in Roseville on the way back from a trip, and had a very good experience. Staff were friendly, food came out quick, and was decently prepared with consideration towards my request. No excessive sauce, no burnt bun, no staff members preparing food without gloves, good times. Until I tried the Stillwater location. There is no care or consideration behind the staff of this location, a sad saying in this town is nothing survives in stillwater (meaning restaurants) and I would hate to see this restaurant go, but I believe it’s a lack of employee care/knowledge. I’ve ordered multiple sandwiches from this location, and almost every single one has been terrible, soggy, and sometimes cold and even the wrong sandwich. I don’t know if there’s any particular staff to blame here, but there is a lack of effort and care for the craft ?
